Flyordie Tips

Here are my tips for 9 ball pool and snooker/snooker light

When playing 9 ball pool, always remember to hit your break off shot as hard as possible. That means you have to draw back and release the cur as quickly as possible. Hopefully, either a ball will go in, or your opponent will find himself/herself snookered with regard to the 1 ball.

If someone's fouled, don't try and combo it. It's a cheap way to win games.

If someone has fouled two times in a row, for instance, try and snooker him/her immediately. If  a player fouls three times in a row, he/she automatically loses the match. Like comboing, this may be frowned upon, but the rule still exists in the game and you may as well make use of it.

When you're playing snooker, don't go all gung-ho at the start. Play tactically, and get to the baulk area as much as you can. Try to get a mistake out of your opponent, so you can get on the scoreboard quickly, and gain an early advantage. If you have a really difficult shot to play, don't play it. Try playing a snooker, so you can put your opponent on the backfoot.

Always go for percentage efficient shots.

Think about positioning. A lot of people just hit balls, don't bother with positioning, and hope that they are nicely on the next ball. You have to manufacture positioning. Try using spin. Also be careful with shot selection. Although some balls may be easier to pot, it may be difficult to get position off them. Therefore, it might be the case that you have to resort to potting more difficult balls to get position on the next colour or red.
